Experience acting in NYC and long term goals.
I’ve always been a traveler and acting has been quite a journey for me so far. I began at a community theatre in Houston, Texas and in September 2014, I made the move to NYC when I got accepted into an acting program. While working at five restaurants and couch surfing through seven apartments, I managed to graduate from the two year acting program eager to start working. What I’ve learned so far is that the work comes from a variety of sources. Each location has its own story whether it’s animation voice overs, singing events, commercials to professional film and theatre. I’ve taken a Greyhound to Philly to shoot a commercial, I’ve taken trips to Long Island to act in a web series, I’ve auditioned for Broadway in the same studios that I studied voice, speech, and acting. I also booked my first regional theatre role. I’ll be in a new musical called The Fabulous Lipitones at the Penobscot Theatre in Maine (more traveling?!).
My long term goals include working with my favorite actors on stage, film, and TV and even branch out into international dramas, films, and anime’.
Review for Tony/BackstagePhotography (5/5 stars)
When experience, creativity, professionalism and camera skills meet; you get Tony Cammarata. He’s worked with professional studios and is now is his own boss and he’s great at it! During the shoot, he gives actor friendly direction. I felt like a professional model while shooting with him. After the shoot he sends hundreds of the best shots. He’s very easy to contact before and after the shoot. Even when my wifi screwed up and I couldn’t download the photos, he was patient and helpful with that too. AND the price can’t be beat! I highly recommend him to anyone who wants great photos at a great price! I look forward to my next session with him!
